EHS Series (not available to USA dental market)

Electronic High Speed pre-and post-vacuum autoclave.
The Tuttnauer EHS line of autoclaves uses a steam generator for direct injection of steam into the chamber which is essential for the high speed performance. A silent water ring pump is an inherent part of the fractionated pre-vacuum and post-vacuum in the drying stage. A water connection is required for operation of the units. Externally supplied steam used together with a vacuum system usually found on much larger autoclaves reduces the total autoclave cycle time substantially. Previously, the poor quality of cooling water endangered autoclave operation. Now, we supply a filter, which eliminates the problem of water line obstruction.

FEATURES:

Bowie&Dick test
This steam penetration test determines whether steam reaches all surfaces of the sterilized load and the interior of surgical packs in particular. The Bowie &Dick test will be a mandatory procedure in future standards.

Vacuum test
This test determines whether there are leaks in the autoclave. This test will also become mandatory in future standards, All vacuum autoclaves (EV and EHS) are provided with a Bowie &Dick and vacuum test programmes.

Programmes:
1 = unwrapped 134°C, 3 min.
2 = unwrapped 121°C, 15 min.
3 = wrapped 134°C, 7 min. With drying
4 = wrapped 121°C, 15 min. With drying
5 = wrapped 134°C, 18 min. With drying
6 = Bowie&Dick test
7 = Vacuum test

Water Quality

Built-in Steam Generator

The distilled or mineral - freee water supplied to the steam generator shall be according to the table below:

A Reverse Osmosis system meeting the qualifications below may be used to provide water for the steam generator. The better the quality of the water, the better performance, the less maintenance and the longer the life of the autoclave.

Mineral Free Water qualifications

(In compliance with ISO 11134 and ISO 13683)

Evaporate residue less than or equal to 15 mg/l
Silica less than or equal to 2 mg/l
Iron less than or equal to 0.2 mg/l
Cadmium less than or equal to 0.005 mg/l
Lead less than or equal to 0.05 mg/l
Rest of heavy metals less than or equal to 0.1 mg/l
Chloride less than or equal to 3 mg/l
Phosphate less than or equal to 0.5 mg/l
Conductivity less than or equal to 50 us/cm
pH less than or equal to 6.8 to 8
Appearance Colorless, clean, without sediment
Hardness less than or equal to 001 mmol/l

Please note: The use of water in the autoclave that does not comply with the table above may have severe impact on the working life of the sterilizer and will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty, thus making it null and void.

Reverse Osmosis Filter System Details.

BENEFITS:

Steam jacket and water ring Vacuum pump:
Reduction of the total sterilization cycle time. This system allows us to build larger tabletop autoclaves like the 3870 (85 l.), models suited to larger practices and clinics.

OPTIONS:

Continues cycle:
You can have the ability to choose how many cycles you need the sterilizer to be ran, and at what interval. Call for price.

PC Connection for data collection:
An RS232 outlet comes standard with the sterilizer. However, software will be needed to be purhcased. The software will enable you to get all the parameters of the cycle ... i.e. temperature, pressure, time, etc. Call for price.

STANDARDS:

Comply with:
93/42/EEC European council directive concerning medical devices.
prEN 13060-I Future preliminary Norm for smallautoclaves, General.
prEN 13060-2 Future preliminary Norm for small autoclaves, ClassB.
EN 61010-I Electrical equipment – general requirements.
EN 61010-2-041 Electrical equipment – particular requirements for autoclaves which are used in the medical field.
