EHS Series
The
R.O. system contains the following 5 stages:
1. Stage 1 is a 20 Micron Particular Filter that removes dirt, sediment,
sand, and other physical particles.
2. Stage 2 is a 5 Micron Particular Filter to remove small particles
such as dirt, sediment, sand and other physical particles.
3. Stage 3 is Activated Carbon which reduces chemicals, such as
chlorine, that may be in your water supply.
4. Stage 4 is the Reverse Osmosis Membrance which reduces 93%-98%
of dissolved mineral salts and other containates in your potable
water supply.
5. Stage 5 is a Post Carbone Filter which performs a polishing process
that remove undesirable tastes and odors from the wate

Mounting of the filter unit: 2-1/4" horizontally slotted holes,
10 5/8" on center,
13" up from the bottom of the filter cartridges
Dimension:
a)
Filter unit 8"W x 17"L x 18"H
b) Storage Tank 10.3 gal, 16" dia x 18"H
Weight:
Filter unit 15 lbs (dry)
Tap
Water Supply: The unit is supplied with 6' of ¼" O.D.
x 11/64" I.D. poly tubing. A saddle valve (not supplied) is
required to complete the connection to the cold water line.
Output
Line: The unit is supplied with 6' of 3/8" O.D. x ¼"
I.D. poly tubing. Using a saddle valve to supply tape water to this
R.O. system eliminates the need for an additional shut off valve
behind the EHS, as noted above. In which case an adapter 3/8"
compression x ½" NPT (male) would be needed to connect
the output poly tube to the hose coming off the EHS.
Drain
line: The unit is supplied with 6' of ¼" O.D. x 11/64"
I.D. poly tubing. The drain line can be routed into the same drain
as noted above for the EHS unit or a drain outlet saddle (not supplied)
can be used to connect the drain line to a suitable waste line.
Storage
tank: A 10.3 gal tank with a floor base is supplied. A ¼"
NPT x 3/8" O.D. 90 degree elbow fitting is required (not supplied)
to connect the tank to the poly tube from the filter unit, when
the tank and the filter system are located at the same approximate
height. If the filter system is located higher than the tank a straight
fitting should be used. The unit is supplied with 6' of 3/8"
O.D. x ¼" I.D. poly tubing.
Maximum
distance: from the tank to the EHS is 15 feet. Longer distances
will result in a reduced flow rate.
One
R.O. system is required per autoclave
